There’s no manufacturer spitting these out by the thousands. I sew every decorative stitch and I love doing it. I am indeed a one-stop-shop.
I package the products; and they are shipped in lovely neon packaging. This way Toaster Huggees are more likely to make it to it’s destination. I personally take them to the carrier for processing. It’s my way of adding a personal touch to everything I do.
The Toaster Huggee cover is intended to keep dust mites and other floating particles from getting into the toaster while not in use. Toaster Huggees compliment your toaster and its intent is to also add flare to your kitchen’s décor. This is the reason for such a variety of colors and designs.
Since launching my new business in July 2019 and after making thousands of Toaster Huggee® toaster covers, I learned a few things about toasters.
First and Foremost
There’s a plethora of different toasters! Though I took the time to research toasters sold in several retail locations, there were a slew of others I knew nothing about.
In 2018 in United States alone there were 17.4 million toaster sold! Therefore, you can imagine this number represented a good number of toaster brands, types, materials, and sizes.
Materials in Toasters: Metal & Other Stuff
Today, manufactures are using aluminum for most metal toasters, and die-cast metal for others. While aluminum has magnetic properties, die-cast metal does not. Similar to polypropylene, which is a hard plastic also used to manufacture toasters, has no magnetic properties; therefore, the Toaster Huggee® cannot adhere aka “hug the sides”. Bummer!!! However if you do have a non-magnetic toaster reach out to me personally, I do have a solutions for you!
